The noise makers tell me it’s time

The black water machine tells me it’s time

Why aren’t they moving?

They grunt and grumble at my inquiries

They send explicit words at me

Why are they angry with me?

The one with face fur is first

He stumbles like he’s drunk

Why can’t he talk right?

“What’s your malfunction?”

He grunts as he sways toward the kitchen

Why can’t he walk straight?

The alpha is next as she belts to him

“Don’t yell at him, he loves you most!”

Why is she covered with bed fur still?

Face fur man gets the black water for them

Alpha woman goes to the litter box room

Why do I have to do this everyday?

They fix the big soft rectangle and lay my bed fur down

I jump to it, they sit down and drink their black water

Why can’t they see I love them?

They pet me and complain about it

They won’t let me drink the black water

Why aren’t we equals?

I am happy though

My throat tells them so

I do love them - they are my peoples

I am their Ninja Shit Kitty

Whatever that means
